Does Siri change the way it understands me when I change the language to different English versions?
The short answer: Yes. For English speakers, The easiest way to test this theory is to change the language from an English version to German or French. Ask Siri a question and watch it offer a web search for the closest thing it could possibly translate from your gibberish.
If you are satisfied with the way Siri understands you and your English accent then you have a few options to choose from. You can make the changes by heading to Settings > General > Siri > Language.
Who can resist the accent of the female Australian? I can’t help but feel as though the accent on the UK English version is a little too electronic; it could have been better.
My tests weren’t as in depth as they could have been, but I had no problem asking for the time of other countries, setting up meetings, and using dictation features to reply to general texts and emails.
